Indian outsourcing for submersible pumps

Darling Pumps manufactures pumps for various Water, Dewatering, Waste water, Sewage & Dredging Applications. At the Aquatech 2008 show they present their outsourcing opportunities. Managing Director Sandeep Naolekar is clear about the goals at Aquatech 2008. ‘We are to find good partners in Europe. Partners who want to promote our ‘Darling’ brand in submersible pumps. But if the customer needs his own brand on the pump, we will go the extra mile to serve the customer.’ Naolekar stresses.

‘We are ready for Europe, ISO certification and CE are in order, OHSAS 18000 & SA 8000 are in progress’ Naolekar adds.

With these interesting statements in mind, Darling is likely to attract attention. They have 25 years experience in dewatering, sewage, slurry and clear water handling. They have a fully fledged factory, with modern machines and testing facilities. And they could profit from the outsourcing trends that are favorable towards India.

Sandeep Naolekar explained us that he has good quality engineers working for him at relatively low cost. But he also explained that not only quality manpower at relative low cost are a strength. Naolekar secured reliable supply of raw materials. This is a major advantage compared to many of his Indian competitors.

Darling presently manufactures Submersible Dewatering, Sewage & Non Clog, Waste Water, and Slurry & Clear Water Pumps up to 75HP. During the Aquatech exhibition in Amsterdam Darling is participating as a co-exhibitor to CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries). CBI is a Dutch government agency promoting imports from developing countries. Darling is invited by CBI as they had a successful audit for exports to Europe and CBI judges them prepared for the European market.
