Possibilities in abundance with UMMAC electric motors

PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT

Brits, South Africa, 25 March 2009; South African electric motor manufacturer UMMAC offers a wide range of electric motors. Motors with specific design, shaft and voltage requirements with smaller production runs are their specialization. During the next Hannover Messe (20 – 24 April) they will be presenting their product variety. A variety that consists of shaded pole motors, squirrel cage motors, flameproof, commutator motors and induction motors for air movement.

Possibilities
UMMAC supplied motors for a many different applications. Mining is an important industry in Africa, at the same time an important industry for UMMAC. The same goes for construction. The universal motors of UMMAC are even used by autopsy laboratories for reliable plaster and bone cutting. This illustrates the many possibilities on offer.
In the United Kingdom UMMAC is successfully marketing and selling its range of sirens for safety applications.

Empowerment
UMMAC started the production of its motors Brits, 85 km from Johannesburg. The Brits area has a high unemployment rate, especially amongst the previously disadvantages black community. UMMAC especially employs staff from this community and teaches them, next to producing and assembling motors how to read and write.

Hannover Messe
UMMAC joined the CBI export coaching programme. CBI is a Dutch government agency promoting the imports from developing countries. After an export audit and training programme CBI exhibits jointly with selected companies on international tradeshows. UMMAC is one of these companies and will be exhibiting on the CBI pavilion at the Hannover Messe.

Innovative Mechanical Seals on display

NEWS RELEASE

Mumbai; 20 March 2009; General Seals has been almost solely focused on the shipping industry for many years. Senior CBI expert Peter van der Sman audited the company for exports to the European Union. According to him the company has transformed itself into a successful manufacturer of mechanical seals for many more applications now.
Van der Sman feels the constant drive for modernization and up-gradation paid off for General Seals. Reason for CBI, a Dutch government agency promoting imports from developing countries, to invite General Seals to exhibit on their pavilion during the next Achema exhibition in Frankfurt. This exhibition is held from 11 – 15 May in the Messe Frankfurt.

Cartridge Seals
Amongst the seals on display in Frankfurt are the cartridge mechanical seals. ‘Design is sturdy’, according to managing director, Mr. Iyer, ‘so it can withstand severe operational conditions’. Slurry pump sealing is one of the main applications. The seals can be made independent of the direction of rotation and in accordance with all international standards, such as; Viz. ISO 21049/ API 682 / EN-12756 / DIN 24960

Advanced Mechanical Seals
Higher shaft run-outs (up to 3mm) and axial play (up to 1.5 mm) are main features of the Advanced Mechanical Seals, also on display in Frankfurt. They are used for mixers and agitators, pressure vessels and glass-lined reactors. The seals maintain contact, also under extreme operating conditions, as they have self-aligning seal faces.
Large cooling passages with the unique baffle plate arrangement for efficient barrier-fluid circulation are in place. They work independent from the direction of rotation.

Bellow Seals
General Seals produces Metal Bellow Seals for High Temperature Applications conforming to API 682 and ISO 24960. Micro plasma welding is used for the bellows to prevent heat damage. The bellows are made of 316L, Hastelloy C, Titanium, Inconel or Monel. The face of the seal is normally made of carbon, TC or SIC.

Next to Metal Bellow seals, Teflon bellow seals are also produced with seal faces made of carbon, glass filled Teflon or ceramics. These seals are resistant to a wide variety of corrosives such as acids and alkalies.

Steam trap for easy dismantling

PRESS RELEASE

Pune, India, 17 March 2009; Clean Steam traps with a sanitary clamp body joint for easy dismantling. This is the main product Pennant puts on display during the upcoming Achema exhibition. Other new products include condensate pumps and two-way pneumatic actuated control valves. A new range of plug valves is also expected to draw much interest.

Expansion
Pennant is ready for the future, managing director Christopher Fernandes tells us. ‘A new manufacturing facility and an increased focus on innovation, pushes the company forward’ he explains. The range of conventional steam traps and accessories have been strengthened and extended recently.
At the same time, Pennant reaches out for niche markets. They do this through the manufacture of special purpose valves.
Pennant continues to expand gradually. The manufacturing facilities at PENNANT include CNC machining, lapping, induction hardening, TIG welding and conventional machining.

Quality
Pennant has a wide range of dimensional inspection and test equipment and operates with 100% steam and hydro testing. Type testing for discharge capacity is executed fully to international standards.

Cơ hội
Do áp lực liên tục trên giá thành sản xuất cũng như khuynh hướng tìm nguồn cung ứng tại các nước đang phát triển, thị trường Châu Âu cung cấp cơ hội cho các công ty trong các lĩnh vực này. Các yêu cầu về chất lượng, năng lực và khả năng là cao. Đòi hỏi tham vọng, lòng tận tâm và sự chuẩn bị đàng hoàng để thâm nhập hoặc mở rộng thêm. Huấn luyện

Trong năm năm bạn sẽ được huấn luyện bởi một nhóm các chuyên gia lĩnh vực về cải thiện sản phẩm, sản xuất, kiểm tra chất lượng, quản lý, tiếp thị xuất khẩu và thâm nhập thị trường. Để giúp bạn phát triển các vị trí đứng đầu kinh doanh thực sự, những kỳ tham gia hội chợ thương mại tập thể tại các hội chợ thương mại dẫn đầu khắp Châu Âu sẽ là phần của chương trình.

Đóng góp tài chính
Các bên tham gia một chương trình huấn luyện xuất khẩu sẽ chỉ trả một phí tham gia không hoàn lại bằng 1.000€,-. Phí được thu ngay khi CBI đã xác định rằng công ty thích hợp để ghi danh vào cuối giai đoạn 1. Ngoài phí cam kết này, các công ty không cần phải trả cho các dịch vụ của CBI

Thành công
Những bên tham gia các chương trình trước đây trong các lĩnh vực này đã chuyển các hướng dẫn thành kinh doanh cụ thể và nay đang mở rộng sản xuất và thành lập các nhà máy mới. Ngoài ra nhiều công ty đã nâng cấp kiến thức về thị trường của mình và, các phương pháp sản xuất.

6. giá cạnh tranh và công suất sản xuất đủ;
7. một ban giám đốc có khả năng liên lạc rõ ràng bằng tiếng Anh;
8. mong muốn và khả năng đầu tư trong việc đào tạo nhân sự và trong việc thích ứng sự phân loại sản phẩm và các quy trình sản xuất, thiết kế, tiếp thị v.v. nhằm đáp ứng các yêu cầu của thị trường Liên minh Châu Âu.
